Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rudi Johnson, 45, was found dead at his Florida home just after midnight on Tuesday. A 2001 fourth-round pick, he spent seven seasons with the Bengals, set their single-season rushing record (1,458 yards in 2005), and finished with 5,979 rushing yards and 51 TDs after a final season with Detroit in 2008. Bengals president Mike Brown paid tribute; Johnson ranks fourth on Cincinnati’s all-time rushing list.
