Following the murder of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), significant fundraising efforts have emerged to support and expand the influential far-right organization he built. Major donors, including Tucker Carlson and Lynn Friess, have pledged large sums to ensure TPUSA’s growth, with interests in establishing new chapters across the country. In 2024, TPUSA reported a substantial financial increase, raising $85 million, largely attributed to Kirk’s robust fundraising abilities and close ties with Donald Trump.
With Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, taking over as CEO, the organization aims to continue its mission in conservative activism, particularly on college campuses, where it has a considerable presence. Experts believe that TPUSA’s fundraising success will likely continue, fueled in part by a campaign to honor Kirk’s legacy and galvanize right-wing donors’ support, as well as a shift to counter perceived threats from the left following his assassination.
